Dr. Dipankar Adhya was the selected speaker under the conference theme for International Conference “Water Loss 2016” organised by International Water Association in Feb 1-3, 2016 for his presentation paper “ Holistic Approach Towards Water Loss Reduction Through Community Participation & Rural Safe Drinking Water Management”. This was attended by 38 countries all over the world.

Jamuria Block in Ranigunge area mainly a coal mine belt in Burdwan District.Decentralised Self (SPACE) Sustaining When there is critically in handling huge amount of ground water wastage due to open cast mining process.Its handling is critical and require specifif treatment due to its high inorganic contamination.BDO of Jamuria Block took keen interest in addressing this issue along with the issue of servere drinking water scarcity. Safe Water Of The People were invited to explore providing solutions to these proble related to optimum utilization of water from reduction of water loss point of view and providing safe drinking water.
